Wedding Make up Make Over

Hey guys! I haven't posted for a couple days because as you can see I am working on a new layout and I am still trying to figure out how to add back my sidebar for my sponsors and I don't want to do too many posts until I get that figured out because, well it's just not fair to all the people that help me support my blog! But a couple weeks ago I mentioned I was doing a gal's makeup and for the first time I remembered to take some before and after pictures to show you guys!

This is this beautiful bride to be's second make up trial before her wedding this weekend! She's so gorgeous and I can't wait to make her look extra pretty for her big day!

What I used: 

Tarte Maracuja Oil to hydrate

Hourglass Primer

Covergirl Concealer stick in deep for contour
Covergirl highlighting concealer in light to highlight
(blended with a Quo blending sponge)

Guerlain Lingere de peau in 02 for foundation

Anastasia contour kit: yellow under eyes and taupe under cheekbones to set the concealers

Milani blush in Luminoso & Rose D'oro

Stila in the light palette for eyeshadow

L'Oreal gel liner to line the upper lashes

Esqido Mink lashes in Lashlorette

Coastal Scents lip palette for lips

Tarte Aqualillies eyeshadow for the brows 

Happy Friday!

This week went by so quick and I don't know if it's because I had a short week last week with my friend Sarah visiting, or its because I am so excited that in two weeks my best friend from home Amy will be here, but whatever it was I am puuumped.

I started watching this show recently & I'm still not sure what I think about it, but I like having a show I know my husband won't watch for when he's away to make sure I have a little somethin just for me, so we'll see how it goes. If nothing else, I love the name Clarke for a girl and it's perfect for my friend Lisa who just LOVES superman.

This salad is what I plan to make for supper at least once this weekend along with all the other delicious salads on this website like this one and the blog itself might just be my new favorite food cave.

Last week I made a little trip into Sephora and scored a couple samples of foundation and this primer which I've been dying to try. It is everything I ever dreamed of in a primer and more it makes my skin so so smooth. I only got the small travel version because it's pretty costly, so we'll see how long it lasts, but I think it will be the newest staple product in my make up bag! I am telling you guys, it is the bomb dot com and I think you need to try it!

Hey guys! When this dress came in the mail I was shocked by how short it is, but the rayon material is so light and perfect for summer over a bathing suit, or with a little somethin somethin underneath. I have been craving a horn pendant/shark tank necklace for eons, so this little guy was such a score I would wear it all err day if I could! 

SOo it's June and only starting to feel like spring here, so I am super pumped to start planning some summer vacations starting in a couple weeks with another one of my best friends coming out to see me! I have also been working on my golf game a little, so watch out for them flying balls!

Navy Jumpsuit

I had the best long weekend with my friend visiting from back East. We spent a full day shopping at West Ed which is just the best place in Canada to fulfill all your shopping needs. I'm excited to share some of the goodies I scored later on in the week, but for now I just wanna talk about this jumpsuit. It is so freaking comfortable and easy to just throw on a one piece like this and be g to g for the day. When I saw it at H&M I instantly loved it. I wish I had more navy pieces, but sometimes I find navy a hard color to wear unless you're in jeans and I don't wear jeans too often. I wish I could wear sandals at work because these gold ones from Forever 21 are just too cute. I could honestly wear them everyday! They have other nice colors too which you can check out here.
